MODULE CONFIGURATION BUTTON GUIDE
When you push the module button, the following screen will appear:

This gives you all of the regular channel parameter settings for one channel.  Understanding the various parts of this display will allow you to understand most of the configuration button screens. Click on any part of the screen for an explanation of the display and the parameters that can be set. Moving the cursor to the part of the screen allows the parameter to be set with the jog wheel and the POD Controllers (as discussed on the Pod Controller Display Guide page).

CHANNEL DISPLAY

This displays the number of the current selected channel.  If you selected Tape Return channel 9, it would say "MTR9" and the arrow would point down (to show you it was the lower row of faders #9).  If you selected Stereo Return channel 6, it would say "ST-RTN6" and the arrow would point up showing it was in the upper row of faders.

4 BAND EQUALIZER

This displays the controls and a frequency response of the equalization.  For a complete guide to equalization and filter controls available, go here

DEDICATED BUTTONS

This display shows the status of the Selected Channel Dedicated Buttons.

AUX SENDS

This display shows you the level of the aux sends as well as Pre/Post selection and allows the send to be turned on or off.

PAD

This display controls the setting for the channel's digital pad and allows the channel's polarity ("phase") to be reversed.

PAN

The Pan display shows you the pan pot position for the channel's pan pot.  The "C" button icon allows the pan to be centered in one push of a button.  The Gang button will gang the even channel to the odd channel.  (The Gang button is displayed on odd channel pan pot displays only).

GROUPING  DISPLAY

The Grouping control will show which cut group and which fader group this channel is assigned to (if any). The grouping controls are in the master section for group cut masters or group master faders.

CHANNEL METER

The Channel Meter display shows the level of the signal in the channel and whether the meter is before ("Pre") or after ("Post") the equalizer in the channel.

DYNAMICS METER

The Dynamics Meter shows the action of the dynamics processor assisnbed to this chanell (ik one is so assigned).

FADER POSITION

This display shows the fader setting for the channel.

CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT

The Channel Assignment display shows the assignment of the channel to recording busses ("1-8"), the mix buss ("ST") or directly to a tape machine track ("D").
