Chapter 1 - INTRODUCTION - Page 1.4 - Faders & Gain Controls

NEXT PAGE

There is a trim control and a pad switch on each channel input. These are used to optimize the strength of the analog input signals coming into the console. These analog controls are one of the few controls that are not "remembered" by the TM-D8000

There are two sets of 24 faders, with a set of "short" faders, immediately above a set of "long" faders.  The set of short faders nominally control the microphone/analog inputs to the console and the echo returns.  The larger faders are set up to be tape returns from 24 channel of a multitrack recorder.  A "fader swap" feature allows the user to swap functions, making the large faders control analog inputs and the small faders control tape returns.
