There are 16 main analog input channels that can be used for microphone inputs of the console. The microphone inputs have the familiar XLR input jacks and have phantom powering available for condenser microphones. Each of these 16 input channels can be made line-level inputs by using the "line" switch at the top of the console's face plate.

There are 6 additional line-level stereo inputs designated for echo returns. 

There are 6 aux sends on the TM-D8000 and six stereo echo returns.
