AUTOMATION CONTROLS

Write Enable Buttons	These buttons activate write mode for either "faders" or "cuts." Both faders and cuts can be activated at the same time.
Automation Mode Buttons	These buttons allow individual channels to be put into Write, Read or Update automation modes. This is done buy pushing the mode button and then the select buttons of channels that you want in that mode.
All Select Button	This button "pushes" all channel select buttons at once. It is used for putting all channels in a particular automation mode.
Null Button	This button allows you to put the fader in the exact location needed to get the fader gain recorded in automation. The update and write indicators light to let you move the fader up or down to the proper position. This function is useful if you are going to "punch-in" the automation by going from Read to Write while the mix is running,
