Recording Overview - 3 class
meetings: |
| In the first 3 class meetings, students study
the basics of studio and control room setup for a recording session along with the basics
of sound and hearing. The section climaxes with a recording session done by the recording
instructor with student assistance. |

| Instead of the
above class meetings the student may attend the Pro Audio
Specialist seminar held in one or two meetings. |

lessons with NINE LESSONS ON AUDIO AND MICROPHONES -
SIX LESSONS ON CONSOLES & MIXERS - THREE LESSONS ON DYNAMICS PROCESSING - FIVE LESSONS
ON EQUALIZATION - SEVEN LESSONS ON OTHER EFFECTS - THREE LESSONS ON PATCHING AND
INTERCONNECTION - SIX LESSONS ON SOUND REINFORCEMENT - SIX LESSONS ON ANALOG RECORDING -
SIX LESSONS ON DIGITAL RECORDING - SIX LESSONS ON MIDI. Up to 25
campus hours may be scheduled for this or for individual practice time with instructor
assistance. |
| Final Exam:
Final examination will be given after student has completed study, but must be taken
within 90 days of starting the class. |
