THE RECORDING INSTITUTE OF DETROIT is owned and operated by THE RECORDING INSTITUTE OF DETROIT, INC., 14611 East Nine Mile Rd., Eastpointe, MI 48021. (800) 683-1743 and (810) 779-1388. The school operates under license by The Michigan Department of Education.  The following list can be used to contact the correct staff member to assist you.
Executives
Greg Reilly, CEO, is the executive in charge of operations.   Mr. Reilly also works with students to round out their training with actual session experience and occasional lectures.  Mr. Reilly has produced and engineered numerous hit records for the last 27 years.
Theresa Dennis, Administrator/President: Ms. Dennis is the executive in charge of day-to-day operations, including admissions, refund requests, interning and educational quality.  Ms. Dennis is a graduate of the Recording Institute of Detroit program and has had extensive executive training.
Robert Dennis, Vice President/Director Of Education/Online Training Administrator/Instructor,  is the executive in charge of education, also functioning as  head recording instructor and music instructor. Mr. Dennis has had over 30 years experience as a recording engineer/producer, has 27 years experience as a recording instructor, has taught for Detroit Public Schools and is the author of the majority of the Institute's recording text and curriculum.
Daniel Dennis, Night Administrator, is the executive in charge of late-evening training, and teaches.  Mr. Dennis has had 8 years experience as a sound technician & recording engineer, is an RID graduate and has extensive training and experience in delivering education to students.
Lewis Whitehead, Assistant Educational Director/Instructor, is in charge of assisting students having difficulty with attendance or progress and also functions as a music and recording instructor.  Mr. Whitehead has had over 25 years experience as a musician and educator, and has extensive training and experience in assisting student understanding in educational programs.
Other Instructors
Ben Blau, Music & Recording Instructor has had 13 years experience in music instruction and is a graduate of the Recording Institute of Detroit training program. Mr. Blau has functioned as a professional recording engineer, producer, arranger and composer for the last 12 years.   Mr. Blau is an additional author of the Institute's music / recording text and curriculum and functions as a recording and music instructor for the school.
Marty Krist and Steve Szajna act as substitute instructors, both having extensive experience in the field and in teaching the subject of recording.
Other Support Staff
Andrea Farmer, functions as Secretary/Receptionist and tracks student attendance & progress. 
Robert Dennis, Jr., Interactive Training Coordinator.  Mr. Dennis helps design and coordinate the RID on-line and interactive training modules for distance study and training.
