the school's classroom resources including its interactive study resources. |

for each recording class attended - contact the school for details. |
|
| Instructor/Administrator Conferences:
Students may arrange private
instructor/administrator conferences where they can get help with areas of study that they
are having difficulty with at no charge. Instructors can usually
"untangle" a confused student in a few minutes and can suggest additional
activities and assignments to help the student through the area of difficulty. All
students are encouraged to have short instructor conferences on a regular basis. |
| Seminars: One to three day educational experiences in related topics of interest to
students, interns, and persons working in (or entering) the recording and music industry.
These seminars are priced according to length and content. Contact the school for current
schedule. |
| Web Study: Students can study theory content of course by purchasing a subscription to
Alexander MagazineTM
. Campus students may purchase such a
subscription at half-rate if they do so with 30 days of starting their training. |
| Graduate
Services |
Student Placement Assistance: The
school does not guarantee placement of its graduates, however, the school does maintain a
job placement assistance director with weekly office hours. Job placement assistance is
available to program graduates who apply to the school for assistance up to one year after
graduation. The specific function of the job placement assistance representative is to
generate job and internship leads and to advise and counsel graduates during their job
search. The school cannot guarantee a sufficient number of leads to service all of its
graduates, and services graduates on a priority basis depending on grades, attendance and
cooperation with the job-placement department. |
| Graduate Recording: Graduates
who are members of or work with bands are offered free multitrack recording sessions
during class projects providing they meet course requirements and schedules.
Musicians/bands/groups must agree to allow students to use sample mixes, allow the school
to retain a copy of the recording for student use, certify they have a right to record
material with copyrights, purchase recording materials if they desire to keep the
production and leave recordings with the school until the class is completed. The
school cannot guarantee servicing of all graduate requests. Students may also
purchase recording time at the Disc Ltd., at discounted prices - contact the school
receptionist for details. |
