| The Recording Institute of Detroit and Real II Reel Productions
are in the process of forming RAMM, THE RECORDING ARTISTS AND MUSICIANS ASSOCIATION OF
MICHIGAN. This will be a professional society of recording artists, musicians, song
writers, engineers, producers, studio owners and equipment retailers interested in
promoting their craft and business through continuing education, networking and
personal/professional growth. The following objectives are being finalized and input
from all interested parties is welcome. |

|
Hold monthly meetings on the first Monday evening of the month
from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM |

|
Hour one will feature a world class speaker on music business
related topics |

|
A one-half hour break (with refreshments) will be provided for
networking. Members can feature their business or swap used equipment. |

|
After the break, the last hour will feature a world class speaker
on technical topics. |
|
| The first meeting will be on Monday, April 5, 1999 at 7:00 PM.
The location will be at a hotel in the metropolitan Detroit or Ann Arbor area.
Memberships will be $99.00 for 6 months or $20.00 at the door. Booth fees
will depend on the final hotel selection. |
| A "distance membership" via the web is being finalized.
This allows out-of-state or long distance members to participate in the association,
getting summaries of the meetings and networking contacts via the web. The RAMM
website will be hosted by Recording Engineer's Quarterly. Dues and complete details
will be posted shortly. |
