Creeping Level

Last tip I talked about reading a VU Meter to get all of the cuts of the record the same apparent level.  If you used this method and put all of the cuts of your CD release onto a DAT tape in the sequence wanted, all of the cuts would, more or less, have the same apparent volume.  That is correct, except, for one of the biggest level killers, "The Creeping Level."
