"Spudman, The Sound Potato" is an original comic series that appeared in "Engineer's Quarterly" in the late 1980's.  It made the Recording Institute of Detroit Staff a bit brighter as we (as a group) assembled thousands of "EQ" copies for distribution to music retailers in the Greater Motorcity area (and by mail to RID Graduates). It was drawn and authored by Ms. Wilson, an account executive at RID at the time. - oldbob
