A New Era Begins
December 31, 2004

It seems as though we time our changes with the changes of the new year.  This year we are going in new directions, while still maintaining the old treks. It makes for quite a change, enough for me to call it a "new era."  My New Year's "Resolutions" are primarily goals for the 2005 year and you can read about them here

If everything works as envisioned it will be grand, but I know that i won't happen as smoothly as I conceived of it in my grey cells. Yet its important to have something to strive for and things usually come about as envisioned sooner or later - usually much later that originally thought.

The Recording Engineer magazine issues have always has a distinctive "Bob" vibe to them. If Bob was busy doing something, a lot of articles on that subject were posted.  I intend to get Recording Engineer's Quarterly on a lot more even keel where thee are new articles in diverse subject areas, but standard type articles that readers have always responded well to in the past.  We can do this well, I believe, because of our large archives. Drop me a line after a couple of issues and let me know if you like what you see.
