The initial
winners from our
September
contest applicants
are in. You say, What contest? We are talk about our
"12 Winners" contest that we announced last issue. The
industry veterans of developing artist productions are taking
several lucky winners (up to 12), analyzing their specific product and
musical efforts. With this the winner is trained, advised and
coached toward making serious progress on the road to a hit record.

A Note About Entering The
Contest: |
|
You'll find the application form
for the contest at the dap site (www,produceahit.com).
In addition to filling out the application form, you must evaluate the
Dave Newland postings linked at the site. Without the evaluations
being done, you haven't finished entering the contest. We've had a
respectable number of readers filling out the application form and
remarkably few finish the application by doing the required evaluations.
Being able to evaluate productions, in varying styles, is a key to being
a good producer. |
