We slow down our work pace during summer (as we increase our playing pace).  But that's behind us now - now is the time to get back to Labors of Love - like recording.

Many of our readers desire to make their own music.  Some even have aspirations towards releasing some of their own music.  With the advent of the internet and web-recording, it can be a lot easier than you think.   We want to give 12 lucky readers the chance to get professional training and coaching on hit production techniques and the marketing of music in today's scene.  Be sure to read about the developing artist productions contest where, if you're a winner, you'll get the professional help you need in your quest of a hit record - for free.

Our Alexander technical articles this month are available to registered readers until the end of September.  This issue is about console competency and mixing technique.  Take the basic competency test to see where your console knowledge is at.

Our All Access technical article is on how to get drum impact in your recordings

Our FREE Internet Baby Steps lessons increased in number to 26.  Learn how to post your own music web page (lessons 18-20) or learn how to read that Japanese manual (lesson 26).
