THE "BEST OF" ISSUE

FROM THE EDITOR

Presently I'm on vacation and wondering how online editors ever get any time off. I suppose the "big guys" get the assistant editor to do it, but at REQ we are very short-staffed and don't have a full-time editorial staff. So while pondering my fate I came up with a great idea - summer reruns of the best articles. And the theme of this issue was born.

Originally I was going to put the best of last year in the issue, but then I realized that we have never had a "best of" issue and I have 5 years to look over to choose articles. WOW! Bottom Line is that I can make this issue our largest ever issue and still go on vacation. I began by going back and reading a 1998 issue and found a couple of gems to repost.

It was a great idea - but I already had 5 articles edited for this issue. So I threw them in also. Talk about a big issue!

So I'm sure that you will find this a fun-packed issue that includes articles that you can't even access though the normal archives. Get a new print cartridge - you'll need it.
