RID TO HOLD SECOND ANNUAL ONE WEEKEND RECORDING SEMINAR

DISTANCE STUDENTS CAN COMPLETE CERTIFICATION IN ONE WEEKEND

Downtown Digital Studios, Saginaw Michigan will host the Recording Institute Of Detroit's Second Annual weekend Pro Audio Specialist's Seminar on August 19-21st.  Students will attend 14 hours of instruction that will introduce them to studio techniques (setting up & placing microphones for recording), control room techniques (operation of a digital console and tape machines for recording and mixing) and participate in a live recording session.
Cost of the seminar is $299.  Paid Alexander Magazine subscribers get the seminar fees reduced to $199.  We scheduled the seminar just after most airline introduce their late summer special fares (most airlines drastically reduce fares starting August 15th) and inexpensive rooms are available at two major motels about a mile from the studio.  To register, use the online form, to find out more about transportation & accommodations, e-mail us.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR: Distance students who have studied the interactive Pro Audio Specialist lessons through Alexander Magazine will be able to attend the seminar classes and take the program final exam.  This one weekend, with previous web study, can get participants fully certified  on our shortest state-licensed audio program
